Baptism embodies a beautiful showing of commitment. As a church we celebrate with you as you publicly show your dedication and love to Jesus. Baptism is a lot like marriage. The symbolization of marriage is a wedding ring -- the symbolization of our relationship with Jesus is baptism.
Baptism is an important step of obedience that shows others we have personally trusted Jesus for our salvation. When Christians are baptized, they are submerged under water to identify with the death and burial of Jesus and raised out of the water to identify with His resurrection. We believe that water baptism is a public declaration of three important things: you're a follower of Jesus Christ, you're beginning a changed life in Christ, and you are part of a new family.
We provide a short class prior about baptism, along with a t-shirt, towel, shorts and a bag. We've got you covered!
